Some games and franchises appear occasionally and create considerable ripples in the gaming industry. Some of them are just a one-title thing, while others become franchises as well. An example is Death Stranding, which some people didn’t play due to the strand gameplay, and we might be getting a sequel soon. Another one is Control. An amazing game with a great story and combat that became free in PS Plus and used the DualSense controller in significant ways. Today, we got big news. Remedy Entertainment has made a Control 2 announcement. A sequel to the game is in the works with them and 505 Games.
Control 2, previously known as Codename Heron will be co-developed by Remedy and 505 Games
Some people have not played the original game, which is a bummer. Control was a fantastic game with a great plot, although a bit confusing if you didn’t pay attention, and amazing combat. Plus, the music was terrific. With the Control 2 announcement, people are beyond excited about what the sequel could be. Some say it might also be a prequel to Control, but we’ll have to wait and get the confirmation.
We have signed an agreement with 505 Games to co-develop and co-publish Control 2, a sequel to Control. Read the announcement: https://t.co/UD1iFHvCeH

New ‘Control’ Games Are On The Way
The original game follows Jesse Faden as she looks for her brother and takes the spot of the FBC Director. It is a great plot that goes toe-to-toe with other titles like Quantum Break. The Control 2 announcement makes players happy, knowing they’ll experience even more from this universe. And knowing what they did with Control for next-gen consoles, we can’t even imagine the amazing things they’ll do for Control 2. Without a doubt, it is a significant announcement, and we hope to get more news about the upcoming game shortly. Meanwhile, if you were lucky enough to grab Control back in August 2021 on PS Plus, you can play it to refresh your memory about this magnificent game.
