The Crash Team Rumble character Ripper Roo is here in Season 1, and you can unlock him now. This blue kangaroo is one of the best characters you can use in the game right now, but you need to know his moves and abilities before doing so. Ripper Roo is a Blocker in Crash Team Rumble, which means he can prevent the enemy players from attacking your base or gathering more points. Ready to play as Dr. Neo Cortex’s failed experiment? Let’s Rumble!

What Are Ripper Roo’s Abilities in Crash Team Rumble?

  • Bounce
  • Canon Launch
  • Bowling Bomb

Ripper Roo has three unique abilities in his move set; The Bounce, Canon Launch, and Bowling Bomb. But before diving into how you can use these moves to have the advantage, you better take a look at this character’s stats. Ripper Roo’s health is normal, just like Crash Bandicoot. His Wumpa bar is high enough to make him a great team scorer. But when it comes to combat, that’s what we want from the Ripper!

In terms of combat, Ripper Roo can summon bombs to hurl at opponents. These bombs deal a ton of damage, which can be so effective for stopping the enemy players who try to score Wumpa points. Now how do you reach their Wumpa bank? With the Canon Launch!

One of the very important abilities of Ripper Roo in Crash Team Rumble is his Canon Launch. This ability activates by pressing the R2/RT button, and then you can navigate to where you want Ripper Roo to be thrown. You can damage opponents while landing and travel anywhere on the map. This will give you a huge advantage when securing the boosters and reaching the enemy base.

Now if you think that using the Canon Launch’s aiming takes too much time for quick actions, you can trust the Ripper with his high jumps. In fact, Ripper Roo can double-jump higher than every other character in the game. And you can use his kick in mid-air to move forward when you want to land on another platform. However, the main point about Ripper Roo’s jumps is his Bounce ability. You can just hold the X/A button to charge and then jump to the sky! Ripper Roo will damage the other players while landing after this move.

And that’s all the unique moves and abilities you can use by Ripper Roo in Crash Team Rumble. However, you should note that this character is a bit harder to master. Ripper Roo’s difficulty level is max. And that means you’ll need to spend some time learning how to accurately use the Canon Launch and how to aim your Bowling Bombs at enemy targets. Nonetheless, Ripper Roo is a potent blocker if you spend time learning his moves.

Crash Team Rumble Season 1 is now live on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
