The clock’s ticking as the release of Crimson Desert approaches. Previously, we’ve seen several videos showcasing many of the features coming to the game, including combat, side activities, and even exploration aspects. However, this time, Pearl Abyss decided to show us the people behind the Greymanes. In other words, we finally have confirmation of some of the voice actors bringing the characters of Crimson Desert to life. And believe it or not, some are quite renowned in the industry, and you might even know a few of them already.

Pearl Abyss Reveals the Voice Actors of Crimson Desert

Meet the Cast: Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane | Crimson Desert

If you haven’t watched it, the studio shared a video called “Behind the Voices,” which shows some of the voice actors donning the roles of a few characters in Crimson Desert. We mainly got to see the ones behind Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane. These are the actors:

  • Alec Newman as Kliff. You may know him from his work in Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy XIV, and Elden Ring.
  • Steward Scuadmore as Damiene, who worked in Baldur’s Gate 3, Final Fantasy XVI, and Arcane.
  • Rebecca Hanssen, who was part of the cast of Baldur’s Gate 3, Arknights: Endfield, and Wuthering Waves.

If you want to know specific roles, Alec Newman was Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077, Steward was the voice of Blackthorne in Final Fantasy XVI, and Rebecca Hanssen is none other than Eve from Stellar Blade.

However, this isn’t just a quick video to showcase which character they are interpreting. The video also shows how each actor had to convey the emotions of every playable character, from the grunts to the emotions, and many more things.

We recommend watching the video, as it also gives more information regarding these playable characters that we’ll get to control as we explore the colorful and mysterious lands of Pywell.
