Deck13 and RadicalFishGames announced today via social media and other platforms that a new CrossCode DLC called A New Home will be available soon. A New Home is coming to consoles on February 26, 2021.

CrossCode is a 2018 action role-playing game initially released for Linux, PC, macOS. Two years later it landed on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, and Nintendo Switch. Now, you can expect some new content.

CrossCode - A New Home DLC Announcement Trailer

Yes, it took this Frankfurt-based developer two years to ship out this long-awaited DLC but it’s finally here. The DLC promises to give answers about what happened to Lea and all the characters. “The time has come to once and for all finish the raid”, and on top of all that, show players “what CrossCode is all about”. The events of the DLC take place after the events of the main game.

The DLC also introduces some new features:

  • Fresh content which will entertain players for about 8 – 10 hours
  • The biggest dungeon in the history of CrossCode
  • New challenging enemies and boss fights
  • New music tracks
  • The final chapter of the Raid

The DLC seems robust judging just by this list and its promises. The “biggest dungeon in the history of CrossCode”? Mad. Since the DLC has been long in the making, fans will probably be very excited about the news. Hopefully, it was worth the wait. A New Home will be available on GOG and Steam platforms on February 26th and will cost $8.99. Interested console players on the other hand will have to wait for the summer.

Have you played the title? Are you excited about CrossCode’s A New Home DLC? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.

In other news, Capcom arcade Stadium releases alongside Ghots ‘n Goblins Co-Op, while Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is coming to Nintendo Switch this summer.
