It’s totally understandable to get a little frustrated when you have to wait in line, at a public place, and the person in front of you is taking too long. This is not one of those moments—it’s far from it. What we have here is someone breaking the social contract and turning hostile because they had to do the unthinkable and… wait their turn. And what do you know, it’s a MAGA Republican, too.
In a video posted by Reddit user PrismPhoneService on r/PublicFreakout, a woman was getting gas at a pump in Nebraska, while a driver behind her—wearing a MAGA hat, no less—was slinging insults at her and telling her to move. The video immediately started with insults, so it’s likely he was causing trouble before the woman started recording.
“Yeah, I don’t give a fuck, you dumb c**t,” the man said, when he recognized the woman was recording him. He repeatedly called the woman a “dumb c**t” over and over again. Apparently, he wasn’t too afraid of having his license plate recorded, either.
After slinging several curse words at the woman, the driver then flips the camera off and gets out of the car. “Better get your a** moving, b***h,” he said, and the video ends.
First off, was any of it really necessary? No. Not even if the woman cut him off in line or was taking too long. There are multiple gas pumps. Why not go to another one? Well, the meanness is the point.
Lastly, this kind of behavior is awfully consistent with MAGA Republicans, online and offline. Whether it’s male Karens attacking woman at Whataburger or getting booted from a bar in Indianapolis, the results are the same.
At the end of the day, the MAGA driver was a bully. His sad attempt to threaten the poor woman by getting out of his car wasn’t enough to get her moving faster. Good for her for standing her ground, and recording this lovely video for us to laugh at.
