Cult of Lamb Trailer and Release Date
Cult of the Lamb will release for various platforms on August 11, 2022. This quirky animated rogue-lite game casts players in the shoes of a possessed lamb that builds a cult in its name after being resurrected. The official description reads:
“Cult of the Lamb casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name. Start your own cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland worshippers and spread your Word to become the one true cult.”
Players must build their block by collecting and using various resources to build new structures, perform dark rituals to appease the gods, and give sermons to reinforce their faith in the lamb. They will explore a sprawling, randomly generated world and fight off hordes of enemies in a rogue-lite setting to defeat rival cult leaders and absorb their power to assert the cult’s dominance.
Finally, they must train the flock to embark on a quest to explore and discover the secrets of five mysterious regions, cleanse the land of non-believers, spread enlightenment, and perform mystical rituals in order to become the mighty lamb god.
