The CW has announced that most of its Arrowverse shows will return for a new season in 2020-2021. So, for all of you Legends of Tomorrow fans who are always a little uneasy around this time of year, don’t worry. The vastly underrated series full of D-list DC characters aren’t going anywhere.
Of course, this list of renewed Arrowverse shows excludes Arrow, which is wrapping up its final season in a few weeks. You can check out a full list of all the shows CW renewed down below:
- The Flash (renewed for season 7)
- Batwoman (renewed for season 2)
- Black Lightning (renewed for season 4)
- Supergirl (renewed for season 6)
- DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (renewed for season 6)
- Riverdale (renewed for season 5)
- Legacies (renewed for season 3)
- Dynasty (renewed for season 4)
- Roswell, New Mexico (renewed for season 3)
- Nancy Drew (renewed for season 2)
- All American (renewed for season 3)
- Into the Dark (renewed for season 3)
- Charmed (renewed for season 3)
Along with Arrow, both Supernatural and The 100 are also ending in 2020. The Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene is not on the list above, but it has received the go-ahead for an additional 13 scripts. CW President Mark Pedowitz released this statement on the renewals:
“These early orders for next season give our production teams a head start in plotting out story arcs and a jump on hiring staff, and this also provides us with a strong foundation of established, fan-favorite CW shows to build on for next season. We’ve been thrilled with the creative direction of all three new series, and even though we are in the very early stages of our new full stack streaming strategy, which allows viewers to catch up on our new shows from the beginning, we’re already seeing incredibly positive results from our multiplatform viewership for Nancy Drew and Batwoman.”
As for what’s next for The CW, the second half of the Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover is set to air on January 14th.
