Danny Masterson is desperate to get out of prison anyway he can. He is said to be working on many angles, but the most recent one involves former Scientologist Leah Remini. The That ’70s Show star continues to serve a 30-year-to-life sentence following his 2023 rape conviction.
However, in a new move, he and his legal team are pointing fingers, claiming his conviction was tainted by the King of Queens star. The actor’s legal team is filing an extensive petition arguing that prosecutors and police were prejudiced against him.

They claim this because of the Church of Scientology, and Remini’s involvement swayed the decision, unfairly. They are now demanding a fair trial.
“The unfairness of the second Masterson trial was the result of prosecutorial misconduct, judicial bias. The failure of defense counsel to present exculpatory evidence,” Masterson’s lawyer, Eric Multhaup, said in a statement.
The jury heard only half the story. The prosecution’s side,” Multhaup claimed in his statement. “Danny deserves a new trial where the jury can hear his side as well.”
Leah Remini’s Ongoing Crusade Triggers New Appeal For Danny Masterson
Leah Remini is a loud voice against Scientology and everyone and everything taht goes along with it. As previously reported, she spent 35 years in the Church of Scientology before leaving in 2013. Remini hasn’t pulled any punches, accusing high-profile figures and the church itself of creating fear and even shaping the behavior of people like Danny Masterson.
Her battle is relentless. She alleges that Masterson’s “dark side” was molded by the church, though the organization has long since turned its back on him. Remini’s crusade warns of the dangers of the church.

However, according to National Enquirer sources, Danny Masterson has a different story, and he wants the chance to tell his side. Masterson’s legal filings claim that Leah Remini was brought in by prosecutors as an adviser and advocate for the accusers.
His attorneys also allege she held a personal vendetta, which unfairly influenced the trial against Danny Masterson. Whether the courts buy it or not. Insiders say Danny will point to Remini as a scapegoat no matter the outcome.
Masterson Watches and Reconsiders
Masterson continues following Diddy’s legal battles, hoping to see a path to freedom through a pardon if Diddy’s efforts succeed. However, even that is looking grim due to the rapper’s recent troubles in the New Jersey prison. Meaning that Masterson needs to likely reconsider his strategy.
Sources say he is relying heavily on his legal team to save him from decades behind bars. Rumors suggest that he is struggling behind bars from loneliness and betrayal.
Both Masterson’s and Remini’s stories serve as a reminder of the dangers that come with taking on a powerful, secretive organization. For Danny Masterson, the road ahead is murky. Even as he blames Leah Remini, the church’s shadow looms large over his future.
