Danny Masterson allegedly feels completely alone and abandoned by his family and closest friends. During his trial, Danny had a lot of support. However, following his conviction, everyone has since bailed on him.
Masterson feels abandoned by everyone he once loved and trusted. His wife and mother of his daughter Fianna, Bijou Phillips, reportedly visited the actor last March. Since then, Phillips has filed for divorce and moved on with billionaire businessman Jamie Mazur.
His closest friends and former co-stars, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who put their necks and careers on the line with their loyalty and show of support, have also cut all ties. Even Danny’s family members have seemingly forgotten him. “It’s like they’ve washed their hands of him,” the insider reveals. “They don’t send letters or care packages. They haven’t visited him in prison.“
Danny Masterson Fights To Overturn Rape Conviction
In December, Danny Masterson and his legal team officially filed to overturn his 30-year rape conviction. Masterson and his legal team believe he did not receive a fair trial and are confident the appeal will end in a win for the star.
Danny Masterson is housed at California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, CA. The actor continues to maintain his innocence, stating that the encounters with both alleged victims were consensual.
However, even if the conviction overturn is successful, Masterson’s life will never be the same. Don’t look for Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher to reconcile their friendship, especially with all the heat building around Kutcher regarding the Sean Diddy Combs scandal.
Ashton’s wife, Mila Kunis, has reportedly put her foot down with Kutcher regarding his former friendships. The couple once put their neck on the line for Masterson, nearly destroying their careers and relationships. So, there is no way she will allow Ashton and Danny to continue their friendship moving forward.
But, considering Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher’s wild past and history with Diddy, it may be a wise decision on both their parts. As for Danny’s appeal, it could take several months. To date, the state’s Court of Appeal has not accepted Danny Masterson’s appeal. However, he believes the evidence will speak for itself.
