This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

All the struggles you endure in Dave the Diver, from managing your oxygen levels to taking down Giant Gadon, is in service of one thing and one thing only: happy customers leaving with a full belly. Happy customers are paying customers and if they’re leaving satisfied, you’ll quickly rise the ranks on Cooksta. If a customer leaves before they’re served, well, that food is wasted. What would be really helpful is to know how many customers you’d get in Dave the Diver per night. It’d give you a better idea of what to prepare on the menu beforehand.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to find out how many customers appear per night in Dave the Diver. Not only does it vary every single night, you aren’t given any heads up as to what the night will be like. You just have to hope and pray you did enough diving during the day.

With that said, the number of customers you get per night in Dave the Diver is determined by your Cooksta rating, not by your decor, your dishes, or the stats of your staff.

Naturally, success means more customers, so if you want more customers, you need to rank up. Even jumping from Bronze to the Silver Cooksta rank will accrue more paying customers.

After reaching Bronze in Dave the Diver, ranking up on Cooksta usually involves receiving a specific number of followers, researching recipes, and increasing your “Best Taste” ranking at the same time.

Knowing all that, it would be advantageous to hold off on ranking up until you can adequately satisfy your customers every night. Spend extra days on gathering exotic fish, materials, upgrading your suit and weaponry, and enhancing recipes. Only when you have a good stock of materials should you improve your Cooksta rating.
