The latest Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that actor Casey Moss is set to reprise his role as Abigail’s younger brother, JJ Deveraux. Soap Opera Digest reports that Moss is set to make his Salem return after tagging the show on social media. Sources on set have confirmed that the actor is back on set. However, it’s unclear in what capacity JJ will be seen.

It’s possible that JJ may have known that Abigail was alive all along. He may have been helping her keep her death secret. However, it’s also likely that JJ will return to Salem to reunite with the sister he believed to be dead. Fans haven’t seen JJ in years, and Moss’s return to the show is huge news. Many viewers would love to see the actor return to his character full-time. However, it’s more likely that he’ll have a small stint on the sudser before exiting again.
JJ, who is the son of Days of Our Lives supercouple Jack Deveraux and Jennifer Horton, was last seen in 2022, per Soaps in Depth. JJ returned to Salem for Abigail’s funeral and stayed for a short time before leaving town again. Although he hasn’t had a major storyline in years, bringing him back now could spice things up on the soap and bring in a fresh perspective.
