Celebrate your Valentine’s Day with your close friends in DayZ, as it comes available for free as of today for a limited time.
Bohemia Interactive has a hand in creating realistic situations in video games and the Arma series is a big proof of that. Despite launching back in 2013, Arma 3 still has a big player base and is still considered as the world’s best modern warfare simulator.
Several years after releasing Arma 3, the studio started working on DayZ as an early-access project on Steam which finally got its final build later in 2018. Leaving you alone in a post-apocalyptic virus-affected fictional country along with 59 players, you have to do whatever you are able to for staying alive as long as possible. In DayZ, there’s no way to turn back and every decision that you make will play a crucial role in the future of your life and probably others in the same world.
Make friendly connections with other players or scavenge them for valuable items, survive the horde of infected, and hunt animals in the wilderness. With no save-games available, every experience in DayZ is a brand new story of an individual player with his own failures, mistakes, and triumphs.
If you haven’t played DayZ yet, there’s a huge chance ahead you don’t want to miss. Announced by Bohemia Interactive and celebrating Valentine’s Day, DayZ will be available for free on PC as of today until February 17. The game is also hit by a 40% discount which makes it available for less than $30. Last year in December, DayZ received a new update fixing its bugs and adding Livonia as a new location to the game.
DayZ didn’t get favorable reviews when it launched as a full title in 2018, however, thanks to Bohemia’s support over the last year, the recent reviews on Steam are positive.
