DC Comics has been around for 75 years and had the pleasure of seeing its gratuitously-muscled spandex-wearing heroes adapted to Hollywood productions, video games, and all manner of merchandise. Not to mention a fan base waging a never-ending war over the mechanics of pretty much everything in the DC universe. What medium is left to be conquered by the brightly-colored pages? Why, music, of course.

This isn’t the first time DC Comics has released a music soundtrack. July 15, 2016, will see the arrival of The Music of DC Comics, Volume 2. Available in vinyl or digital, the mix of tunes span a variety of canons, including Superman, Batman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and… something called Superpup? The full track list is below.

  1. The Baby from Krypton (Superman Radio Show)
  2. What Are You Going to do When You Are Not Saving the World? (Man of Steel)
  3. Superman Theme (Ruby-Spears Superman)
  4. Superman The Animated Series Theme
  5. The Flying Sequence/Can You Read My Mind?
  6. Fight Night (Dawn of Justice)
  7. Batman Theme
  8. Batman The Animated Series Theme
  9. The Ballad of Batman (The Brave and the Bold)
  10. Batman Takes Over (Batman and Robin)
  11. Why Do We Fall? (Dark Knight Rises)
  12. Christmas With the Joker/Jingle Bells Batman Smells
  13. Joker is Wild
  14. Mischief (Harley Quinn’s theme)
  15. Lex Luthor’s Lair
  16. Penguin Makes Moves (Gotham)
  17. Penguin’s Umbrella
  18. Challenge of the Superfriends
  19. Justice League of America Theme
  20. Supergirl Theme
  21. Robin’s Theme
  22. The Adventures of Superpup (TV pilot)
  23. Legends of Tomorrow Theme
  24. Metamorpho
  25. Get Your Cape On
  26. The Flash Theme (TV series)
  27. Flash Vs. Arrow
  28. Wonder Woman Theme
  29. Wonder Woman Theme (TV series season 3)
“Hand over that soundtrack, Superman!” “Never! You’ll just have to buy it like everyone else, Luthor!”

With superheroes continuing to make such massive comebacks in all forms of media, one has to wonder if they have any time off to kick their feet up at home anymore.
