Deathloop September 21 Update Patch Notes
Game Update
- This hotfix addresses an issue experienced by some players on PC whereby mouse-based camera movement could result in the appearance of “stutter.”
The team had more to say through the remainder of the Steam post surrounding today’s patch:
Additionally, we are looking into a separate, but related issue that we have identified as a factor that may also be a cause of stuttering at high framerates. We will update further on this as soon as we have more information.
Thank you for your continued patience and your help in submitting support tickets and participating in the hotfix beta branch test this past weekend.”
While I personally didn’t run into issues regarding stuttering with Deathloop on my playthrough (and in fact, adored it), it’s great to see the team is tackling what is arguably the biggest issue with the game at the moment. Quite actively too, seeing as we only just recently got another update fixing some of the other key issues. I’m sure many of you are ecstatic by this news and, overall, I hope you get to properly enjoy the game. I know I did.
Deathloop is available on both PC and PlayStation 5. For more information regarding this patch, check out the official Steam post.
