The Destiny 2 Malediction weapon is a Legendary Hand Cannon with some pretty impressive God Rolls. Though, to get the Malediction, you’ll need to put in a bit of work, and by “a bit,” I mean “a lot.” You can only obtain the Malediction Hand Cannon by reaching max rank with one of the Vendors around the Tower that runs certain activities within the game. If you’re a fan of Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit, then you won’t have too much to worry about. As for the rest of you, buckle up. You might be in for a bumpy ride. Let’s take a look at how to get the Malediction Hand Cannon in Destiny 2.

There are a few different ways that you can obtain Malediction in Destiny 2. However, all of those methods include ranking up with someone in the Tower. Zavala, Shaxx, and the Drifter all offer Malediction as a reward for reaching Rank 16. However, reaching Rank 16 means that you’ll be maxing out your rank in that particular activity.

Each NPC runs a different activity. That said, you can get Malediction by reaching max rank in Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit. You can increase your rank in all of these activities simply by participating in them. However, if you want to speed up the process, choose an activity that you perform particularly well in so you can get some wins, and in turn, faster ranking.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
