So, what is the Good Boy Protocol in Destiny 2? It would be time to finally know what or who was behind the mysterious door at the orbital station. After all, the Guards are already tired of guessing why mysterious orbs without logical origin and purpose fly around the different planets of Destiny 2. However, knowing what is behind the door is only the beginning because you have to open it. But don’t worry, everything you need is below. Today we will talk about what is Good Boy Protocol is in Destiny 2 and how to open this strange door.

What is the Good Boy Protocol in Destiny 2

As you might have guessed from the image above, Good Boy Protocol is related to Exo’s cute cybernetic dog. It is he who you will meet behind the mysterious door at the orbital station, so the time spent on opening the door is worth it. As for the protocol, you have nothing to worry about. When activating the Good Boy Protocol you only pet this cute dog, so nothing dangerous will happen.

It is probably the cutest thing you can get in Destiny 2. But if you haven’t opened the door yet, you will have to spend some time doing it. After all, you have to collect as many as 50 nodes in various locations in Destiny 2:

  • Europa – 12
  • Moon – 12
  • Each Battleground – 6
  • Operation: Seraph’s Shield – 12

Once you have collected everything you need, go to the orbital station. After that, you can open the door and find a lone Exo in the dark. It is unknown how long he spent there, but now he is not alone. Once you activate the Good Boy Protocol, you will probably want to do it many more times. Luckily for you, Ghost will move Exo to H.E.L.M. In the H.E.L.M., the dog will have both a pillow and a soft bed, and he will like it. And you can always return after a hard battle and activate Good Boy Protocol a couple of times.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox platforms.
