Have you ever dreamed of being a vampire? Well, you can get one step closer to that thanks to the release of Diablo 4 Season 2. Season of Blood lives up to its namesake thanks to the new Vampiric Powers. There are more than a dozen abilities, and all can be enjoyable regardless of Class. However, some can shine more than others. So, we created a tier list to find the best Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4.
Best Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 – Ranked
The 22 Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 offer plenty of variety, which makes ranking them a bit tough. Some are perfect tools to help you quickly level up your new seasonal character. Others are ideal end-game abilities that will get you through those Nightmare bosses.
Our best bet at organizing these abilities is to separate them based on features like overall usage, damage output, and how well they aid you in growing your character. Just because an ability is ranked lower doesn’t remove its usefulness. Plus, you may find some work better for your character, Class, and playstyle over another. Experimentation is key.
You can check out our tier ranking for the Diablo 4 Vampiric Powers in the table below. We’ll discuss things more in-depth later.

S-Tier Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4
As of now, we’ve placed only three vampire abilities into the S-Tier rank. These excel in any Class, pair together well, and increase your damage output, all while keeping you on the move.
- Metamorphosis: Evading turns you into a swarm of bats and makes you Unstoppable for a few seconds. Enemies within the path are damaged alongside gaining the Vampiric Curse.
- Prey on the Weak: You increase your damage by 16% to vulnerable enemies. Enemies are vulnerable when afflicted with the Vampiric Curse.
- Ravenous: Lucky Strike: Gain up to 20% chance to boost attack speed for 6 seconds.
A-Tier Vampiric Powers
Our A-Tier Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 are high-performing, just like our top three picks. Several of them pair well, like Hemomancy and Sanguine Brace. Meanwhile, having Hectic and Anticipation ensures your Cooldown rate is impressive. Undying is another helpful ability to keep your health up.
- Hemomancy: Every four seconds, your attacks deal a percentage of your Max Life and damage nearby enemies. Each enemy damaged from it heals 1% of your Max Life.
- Sanguine Brace: Killing an enemy will Fortify 6% of your Base Life. Plus, if your Fortify is greater than your Max Life, you get an 8% Critical Strike chance.
- Moonrise: You gain 4% attack speed for 10 seconds when you hit an enemy with a Basic Skill. Once stacked 5 times, you enter Vampiric Bloodrage and increase your movement speed and Basic Skill damage for 10 seconds.
- Blood Boil: If you overpower an enemy with Core Skills, you’ll gain 3 Volatile Blood Drops. Once picked up, it explodes and deals physical damage to those nearby. Every 20 seconds guarantees your next skill will overpower.
- Undying: Heal for 3% Life when you cast Skills. It doubles if your Life is below 50%.
- Flowing Veins: Deal increased damage over time to enemies with Vampiric Curse.
- Accursed Touch: Lucky Hit: Increased chance to afflict Vampiric Curse. Those infected with it have a 15% chance of spreading it to nearby enemies. The ability also increases your damage.
- Anticipation: Increases Cooldown Reduction for Ultimate Skills. They also increase in damage towards enemies affected by damage over time effects.
- Hectic: Reduce one of your active Cooldowns by two seconds for every five Basic Skills used.
B-Tier Vampiric Powers
With the B-Tier abilities, they have potency based more on playstyle. Because some playstyles may not benefit from them, we’ve stuck them lower on the ranks. For instance, Terror and Domination are fitting if your style focuses on crowd control debuffs.
- Terror: Gives you a chance to Fear and Slow enemies when you’re hit. For Feared enemies, you’re guaranteed a Critical Strike.
- Bathe in Blood: Form a pool of blood beneath you when channeling a Skill. If you channel in a pool of blood, the Skills deal increased damage and grant you more damage reduction.
- Resilience: For every 2% Life missing, gain 1% damage reduction.
- Domination: Enemies Feared, Stunned, Frozen, or Immobilized receive increased damage. If they’re not an Elite and are also Injured, they will insta-die.
- Infection: Infects enemies hit with direct damage with Pox. If inflicted eight times, enemies expunge the Pox and deal poison damage.
C-Tier Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4
These Vampiric Powers can still benefit you in Diablo 4, but they call for a specific type of playing. The abilities work if you like to call in help, and Call Familiar, Coven’s Fangs, and Feed the Coven work hand-in-hand.
- Feed the Coven: Lucky Hit: Companion, Conjuration, Minion, and Bat Familiar attacks have a chance to restore Primary Resource and increase your damage for four seconds.
- Call Familiar: Casting Imbuement, Macabre, Mastery, Weapon Mastery, or Wrath calls in a bat ally to attack, damage, and increase stun chance to nearby enemies.
- Coven’s Fangs: Lucky Hit: Companion, Conjuration, Minion, and Bat Familiar have an increased chance to inflict a Vampiric Curse when striking enemies. Companion, Conjuration, Minion, and Bat Familiar attacks deal increased damage to crowd-controlled enemies.
- Rampart: If you don’t move for 3 seconds, you’ll gain a Barrier that’s 40% of your Max Life for 6 seconds.
- Jagged Spikes: Thorns have a chance to deal increased damage and Chill enemies.
Diablo 4 is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
