Diablo Immortal features a variety of World or Zone Events that will reward players with equipment loot and Enchanted Dust, the most valuable material to upgrade your gear. You can only participate in these events once you have unlocked the Hell Difficulties after the Main Campaign Questline is completed. This time, we will help you to find the best place to farm the Mysterious Scroll item in order to complete Lost Artifact Event in the Shassar Sea Zone of Diablo Immortal.
Mysterious Scrolls and Lost Artifacts Explained
The Mysterious Scroll is an item necessary to trigger the Lost Artifacts World/Zone Event that takes place in the Shassar Sea Zone. True to its name, the item will drop randomly from defeated enemies in the Zone. Once you obtain a Mysterious Scroll, you can use it to mark random locations of dig sites that contain Ancient Urns.
Clear the marked area, destroy the Ancient Urns, and then Calim will teleport in via a portal. Finish his dialogue, then teleport to Tabri’s Encampment Waypoint and talk to Calim once more to claim the Event rewards and complete the Lost Artifacts Event.
Keep in mind that the Mysterious Scroll will drop as a normal blue item and has to be picked up manually, as (for some reason) the auto-loot feature won’t work on it.
Where and How to Farm Mysterious Scrolls in Diablo Immortal
Mysterious Scrolls can drop from random enemies in the Shassar Sea, but the biggest problem about it is that it has an extremely low drop rate. You can try wasting hours killing random mobs and won’t see one being dropped — and you might get extremely lucky and find one when killing the first target you see in the Zone.
Nevertheless, a number of players online have mentioned that since the Domain of Horror area has a higher concentration of Rare Elite mobs spawn, the place is a bit more ideal to farm Mysterious Scrolls, considering it has a higher drop rate from tougher enemies. Other players also said that changing Hell Difficulties might impact the enemy spawn rates, and some suggest playing on Hell I. Still, we’ll keep an eye on this issue in case the Diablo Immortal community managed to find out a better way to farm Mysterious Scrolls.
Mysterious Scroll and Lost Artifacts Event Rewards
- Gold
- Enchanted Dust x6
- Random equipment, ranging from Normal to Legendary.
As seen above, aside from the Enchanted Dust, the rewards you get from Mysterious Scrolls are nothing to write home about. Especially considering how rare and reliant on RNG the drop rate is. Unless you’re farming Shassar Sea mobs for some other tasks, might as well do the Event only once and then forget about it.
