Tackling the main story is not the only thing you can do in Diablo IV. The large open world consists of numerous places to explore. When the main game releases, there will be more than 100 dungeons to battle your way through. The more areas you discover, the more you’ll encounter side quests. One of those in Diablo IV involves you having to find Kauller the Collector. We’ll show you exactly how to encounter this side quest boss.

Where to Find Kauller the Collector in Diablo IV

“The Beast’s Challenge” is a side quest in Diablo IV that is typically aimed at players Level 8 and higher. This is found at the Bear Tribe Refuge in Seat of the Heavens. There’s a Waypoint you can unlock and quickly travel to as needed.

Once you get there, find and speak to Greganoch. After you speak to him, you are given the Diablo IV quest “Find Kauller the Collector.”

Now, you will want to head north from the area. Check on your map and pin the location so you can follow it easier. The location you need to be at is found above the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon. This is within Sinner’s Path.

Once you get to the area, you will encounter numerous enemies. So, be sure that you take on this quest prepared. The whole deal when it comes to the “Find Kauller the Collector” quest in Diablo IV, you must kill this beast.

When you move north of the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon gate, head toward the west. From here, fight through multiple enemies until you encounter the monstrous Kauller the Collector. Trust us: he’s impossible to miss.

Your quest objective will change, too, once you’re in the right spot. Instead of “Find Kauller the Collector,” you will now see the Diablo IV quest “Claim the Head of Kauller the Collector.”

From here, it is straightforward. Defeat the swarms of enemies to make things simpler to battle Kauller directly. Note that Kauller is an Elite boss with Cold Enchanted, Summoner, and Vampiric abilities. Also, his difficulty scales with you. So, be sure you’re ready for this if you’re beyond Level 20, as he will be past it as well.

Once you defeat him, claim the Head and speak with Greganoch once more at Bear Tribe Refuge. You are then tasked to mount the head. When you do, you will complete the questline.

Diablo IV releases on June 6, 2023, for PC, PS5/PS4, and Xbox One and Series.
