Diddy isn’t letting the trail of his abuse scandal define his life completely or ruin his summer plans. Last month, the rap mogul embarked on an adventurous getaway to Wyoming, where he spent considerable time with friends. Shots of his group navigating the white waters at Jackson Hole on a raft confirm the group had so much fun on the trip, with Diddy seemingly living his best life and rising above the scandal.
However, this move to leave it all behind, albeit as a coping mechanism, is pulling Diddy deeper into the legal loop. Worse still, it sends a clear message to his “victims” and those anticipating the outcome of his latest controversy, that the rapper couldn’t care less. Now, some of his victims feel hounded by the actors’ devil-may-care attitude, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Sean Diddy’s Coping Mechanism Enrages Abuse Victims
Speaking to TMZ, Cassie Ventura’s lawyer Douglas Widgor slammed Diddy’s rafting expenditure, pointing out that the rapper still had his multiple legal woes lying in wait for him. He shared,
“I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead.”
Weeks back, a video showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie surfaced amid her claims of abuse. The video cast a shadow on the rapper’s character as until then, he strongly denied his ex-girlfriend’s assault allegations. Although he offered a public apology, Cassies’s team questioned his sincerity, insisting he was only sorry he got caught.
Another victim, Adria English, an adult film star who sued Sean Diddy for allegedly forcing her to engage in “prostitution and sex work” at white parties also frowned upon the rapper’s latest enjoyment spree. Adria’a attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd told TMZ,
“After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails.”
The attorney also condemned the video of Diddy boarding his private jet which the artist shared last month amid his sex-trafficking scandal and multiple lawsuits. Diddy’s recent adventures, at this point, could simply be a coping mechanism or an intentional move to spite his abuse victims. So far, his victims seem to believe the latter, perceiving Sean Diddy’s bid to freely enjoy himself as his way of hitting back at them with the typical “What, me worry?” attitude.
