Disney Dreamlight Valley is no stranger to adding new characters into Dreamlight Valley. Ever since it first released in 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley players have gotten to play with new additions ranging from Frozen’s Elsa to Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. Some of the most recent additions include Jack Skellington and the cast of the A Rift in Time expansion, including Belle and Gaston and EVE from Wall-E. Moving forward, however, Gameloft’s Disney-themed life sim has opted to ask the players what they’re looking forward to seeing the most in 2024, and that includes options for a few surprising new faces.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Surveys Fans on New Star Path, Characters
To gather data from their fans, Gameloft has published a survey asking Disney Dreamlight Valley about their past experiences playing the game and what they might want to see as the game moves forward into the new year. The survey can be taken here, if you’re interested in doing so. Even if surveys aren’t your thing, the survey holds some exciting clues as to what – or who – Gameloft might be planning on adding to Disney Dreamlight Valley in the future.
Among some of the questions asked in the survey, one of them asked what Star Path theme players would want to see next. The game’s Star Path is a seasonal event where players can complete tasks to earn rewards, usually special seasonal clothing items. When asking players for a new Star Path theme, the survey mentioned a “decades” theme, a Little Mermaid inspired mermaid theme, and a Greek Mythology theme borrowing from Hercules and Percy Jackson.
Aside from Star Paths, the Disney Dreamlight Valley survey also asked players which existing characters they’d want to see a Dream Bundle for, including characters like Ariel, Belle, and Stitch. Most excitingly, however, the survey also asked players which brand-new characters they’d like to see added to the game. Choices included Lumiere and Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King, and Rex and Bo Peep from Toy Story. All three franchises are already represented in the game, but it’s interesting to hear which directions Gameloft might choose for some new faces in Dreamlight Valley.
