Now that Early Access is available, fans are diving in to explore the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley. As it is as much a life-sim game as it is one packed with adventure, this has several town-building aspects. One of these features is crafting. If you want new furniture or finish certain quests, you must learn to craft. However, this is not available right away. We will tell you all about how crafting works in Disney Dreamlight Valley so you can craft the item of your dreams.
How Crafting Works in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There is plenty to do in Disney Dreamlight Valley as you work to aid the characters there and restore the world to the beauty it once was. Among the various requests in Dreamlight Valley is an NPC asking you to craft an item. Additionally, you gain certain furniture via crafting. So, this is a vital feature to take advantage of.
Even so, you won’t unlock crafting in Disney Dreamlight Valley until you start the questline for Scrooge McDuck. Head over to the bank to find him. During the quest, you are told to craft certain items for him. When you finish the quest, you will unlock the crafting table.
There is a crafting table located by Goofy’s home. However, Scrooge McDuck gives you a crafting table after the quest. So, you can set that up anywhere in the Valley or inside your own home.
Crafting and Recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Even when you can craft in the game, you won’t have access to all the recipes. The best way to unlock recipes is to complete different quests for NPCs. Alongside that, you can find recipes hidden in chests, unlock some by raising your Friendship Level with people, and by leveling up your own character.
For crafting to really work in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must gather the right materials. Materials such as coal and stone are found all around the Valley. So, keep an eye out and remember to harvest frequently. Some of these Disney and Pixar characters even help you upgrade your tools, like your pickaxe, so you can collect even more materials.
Crafting itself is straightforward. Simply head to the crafting table and interact with it. Once you do, you will see the craftable items you have the recipes for. When you click on one, it will tell you the exact material and how much of it you need.
Once the crafting is complete, the item will appear in your inventory automatically as long as you have room for it.
