You find many items throughout Disney Dreamlight Valley for cooking, crafting, and quests. However, some are valuable on their own, selling for a good deal of coins at Goofy’s stalls. Gems are among these valuable, versatile items. Whether for a quest or for money, it pays to farm the Emerald gem in Disney Dreamlight Valley. We’ll show you all the areas you can find them and how to gather them.
How to Get an Emerald Gem in Disney Dreamlight Valley
An Emerald is a necessity to complete certain quests in the game. Beyond that, it is among the 18 different types of gems that you can sell in exchange for coins. So, if you are ever short on coins and don’t need to complete a specific quest, you can gather up some of these gems and head over to one of Goofy’s stalls to sell them.
As for the Emerald gem, it sells for 325 coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Also, a Shiny Emerald sells for 1,300 coins if you ever get some of those.
If you don’t know, the Emerald is green in color. It is a touch darker than the light green Peridot gem, so it isn’t hard to differentiate the two.
You can find the Emerald gem in two Disney Dreamlight Valley locations: Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust.
If you have yet to unlock these areas, they each cost 5,000 Dreamlight. In both of these areas, search for Black-Colored Rocks that have green jewels in them. Smash these to gather an Emerald in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Sometimes, these rocks won’t have any green in them. Even so, it’s worth it to give them a smash. There’s a chance that you might get an Emerald out of it.
For quicker gathering, bring a friend that you’ve assigned a mining task with you. This way, you double your chances of finding Emeralds.
