Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Get Vial of Ocean Water

There’s something in the water.

The basic resources of the Valley are easy to find once you memorize where they respawn; conversely, searching for those pesky one-time quest items can be an absolute pain. One such item would be the Vial of Ocean Water, which is required for a potion that you’ll need to upgrade your pickaxe during Elsa’s “Breaking the Ice”ย Friendship Questย inย Dreamlight Valley. While “ocean water” should indicate that this ingredient is somewhere on Dazzle Beach, where are you supposed to even look?

Dazzle Beach is surrounded by the ocean (obviously), but the spot where you’ll find a Vial of Ocean Water is near the dock on the southern side of the Dreamlight Valley biome. Walk along the shore on the southeastern corner of the beach, slightly north of the wooden pier. You should spot a sparkling node in the water; use the “Pick Up” action to get the quest item.

If you want to get really technical, look around the area where the shoreline makes a right-angle shape on the southeastern side of Dazzle Beach. The sparkly node definitely looks different from the fishing bubble circles in the water, making it easy to spot. Still, it can be easy to miss due to the glare of the sunlight, especially if you have a habit of spinning around your camera when walking about.
