This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of the best ways to earn Star Coins during the late-game portion of Disney Dreamlight Valley is by farming Pumpkins, large orange winter squashes that can be sold for a massive profit or cooked for tasty comfort food. For cooking, Pumpkins can be used to make Pumpkin Soup and Pumpkin Puffs, excellent dishes for replenishing character energy. However, selling Pumpkins is a much more worthwhile investment for these large crops, as they can grant players a profit of 389 Star Coins per Pumpkin. Continue reading to learn where to find Pumpkin Seeds to grow Pumpkins in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To get Pumpkin Seeds for Pumpkin farming in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Saviors must unlock a biome known as the Forgotten Lands. This purple area can be found to the northwest of the Valley map, north of the Sunlit Plateau. To enter this area, players will need to give Merlin 15,000 Dreamlight to clear the entry pathway.

Players who have yet to gain access to Sunlit Plateau will need to pay 7,000 Dreamlight to Merlin to unlock the area, meaning that the entire journey from Peaceful Meadow to the Forgotten Lands will cost a total of 22,000 Dreamlight. To farm up this large investment, fans will need to complete their daily Dreamlight tasks and recurring milestones for several in-game hours. Depending on one’s availability, this process could take several days of playtime. However, the effort is well worth the result of immense Star Coin profits with Pumpkins in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Thanks to gameplay footage provided by YouTube content creator Bethany Leigh, Disney Dreamlight Valley fans can know how much Pumpkin Seeds cost, including the profit they can be sold for. To purchase one pouch of Pumpkin Seeds, players must spend 275 Star Coins, which is quite high for a pack of Seeds compared to other crops. However, one Pumpkin will sell for 664 Star Coins, ×2.4 times the original cost. This 240% profit can be further increased when bringing along Villagers with multiplying crop-yield perks. Such bonuses are unlocked when players increase their Friendship Level with the NPC. Accordingly, players can potentially make hundreds of thousands of Star Coins within an hour or two by planting and farming Pumpkins in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
