On a recent kickstarter announcement, Larian Studios has revealed the new Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, a new separate expanded game, available for free to anyone who owns the current Original Sin game. According to the studio this isn’t just a simple minor update, but in reality a whole new experience providing controller support on PC, local co-op with split screen, fully voiced characters, a completely reworked story with a brand new ending, and much more.

The biggest feature on this new version seems to be the multi-platform support, with this new version being available on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, SteamOS and Linux

Larian has also released an update video to celebrate the announcement:

Divinity: Original Sin - Update 67: Enhanced Edition

Larian Studios is going to be at E3, where it will show more of Original Sin Enhanced Edition‘s features and gameplay, including “the much-anticipated new modes of play.”

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is scheduled for release “when it’s ready.”

You can find the announcement here.
