First 4 Figures has just opened pre-orders for a magnificent Arwing statue from the Star Fox series. Measuring in at 12″ x 12″ x 18″, it’s a rather sizable craft with an equally sizable price tag. $299 for the exclusive version, which features purple LED lights to make it look even cooler, and $280 for the regular.
Fox and crew have been piloting the Arwings since their original SNES title, and the one-man ship has since become one of the most popular and well-known spacecraft in gaming. This statue is the leading charge in First 4 Figures’ new Star Fox line of products, meaning figures of the mercenary pilots themselves likely aren’t too far behind.
Statues made by First 4 Figures have a habit of selling out quickly and usually end up being out of stock for good once they do. Unless one is extremely lucky (or rich), owning even one of the manufacturer’s masterpieces is a beautiful pipe dream, let alone multiple different ones. And there are a ton of jaw-dropping creations to drool over.
The Arwing’s stock is very limited, so collectors who absolutely must have one had best scramble over to the website and secure theirs now. The statue will be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2016. The exact number available is not yet known but is expected to drop quickly.
