A lot of people order from DoorDash, and some might be unlucky when it comes to their experience. One example of that is what a Texas DoorDash driver was caught doing on camera. A woman shared how she ordered from Panera Bread through DoorDash. For some reason, she had a weird feeling about her order so she decided to check the camera. It was definitely a good thing that she did that. The short video showed the driver placing the food down and taking a picture as proof. Nothing is wrong with that. What happened next was jaw-dropping.
The Texas DoorDash driver still stood in front of the door and was checking something on her phone. She then reached behind her, put her hand inside her shorts, and started scratching her butt. Yikes. She did that for a couple of good seconds too. Of course, the customer sent a complaint where she wrote, “I was extremely concerned when I noticed, via my doorbell camera, that the delivery driver was seen digging in her pants before delivering my food. This behavior struck me as both unsanitary and unprofessional, especially considering the nature of food delivery.” She has definitely got a point. Currently, she doesn’t plan to use DoorDash anymore and no one can really blame her.
People Reacting to What the Texas DoorDash Driver Did
It’s safe to say that everyone was just as disgusted as the Texas customer. The video gained a lot of views, so it quickly reached DoorDash, and they left a comment saying, “OH let’s make this right. Check your DMs!” This comment made one person write, “Her account is definitely banned & suspended 5minutes after DoorDash commented.” I mean that’s not something you could justify. Another person replied to DoorDash’s comment and told them, “Yall really need to check people for socials and verify with selfies before and after shifts. Also pay more. We wise to ur money grubbing ways.”
Many people kept telling the Texas customer that a lot of videos are now exposing how DoorDash has a lot of similar problems. That was when she said, “I’ve seen so many videos and never thought this would happen to me !! Like girl why would you do that !!!!” Others focused on how the customer wrote in her complaint that the driver did what she did before she delivered the food. This wasn’t true, according to the video, which is why one person wrote, “I’m not defending her, this is 100% not acceptable but why did you put in your report ‘before delivering my food’ if it happened after she put it down?” Another person agreed and told the customer, “No need to lie.” They have got a point. The situation is bad whether the driver did that before or after delivering the food.
