Dr. Disrespect has just signed a multiyear deal with Twitch to stay on the platform, marking the latest deal made to retain its top streamers on the platform. It was also just last week when Pokimane another of Twitch’s’ top streamers announced a similar deal with Twitch. We will now go over everything we know so far about Dr. Disrespect’s deal with Twitch.
The Great Live Stream War
These exclusivity deals are the latest development in a current Livestream war going on between Twitch, Mixer, Facebook Gaming, and YouTube.It all started when Tyler “Ninja” Blevins left Twitch for Mixer since then platforms have been poaching talent like crazy.
Several other streamers like DisguisedToast and Shroud have also left the platform. Despite Twitch’s losses, the platform is making bold attempts to retain its position as a major streaming platform by signing deals with major streamers like Dr Disrespect. Last year in December the site also signed exclusive deals with DrLupo, TimTheTatman, and Lirik.
Then last week Twitch’s top female streamer Pokimane announced she signed the same deal with Twitch and said the following regarding it “The community of streamers on Twitch, as well as the community I’ve built around my channel, both mean so much to me, I want to continue to make a lasting impact on the world of live streaming, and I truly believe there’s no other place that has the infrastructure and tools that will allow me to do so.”

The Good Doctor Signs On With Twitch
Dr.Disrespect (Guy Beahm IV) has over 4 million making him the latest streamer to sign an exclusivity deal with Twitch. At the same time, he also released an action-packed announcement video in line with his 80s action film persona.
Dr.Disrespect also had the following to say regarding Twitch “Twitch is where I built my Champions Club empire and will continue to entertain the millions of fans looking for me to dominate the competition, Gaming related content will redefine entertainment and I am looking forward to leading the way.” Mr. Beahm has also been expanding the Dr.Disrespect brand by signing a development deal with Skybound Entertainment and also has launched a cross over the campaign with WWE and Undertaker.
