Dua Lipa turned heads at the 66th annual Grammy Awards this year, but talk of her dress didn’t come without drama. Slipping her curves into a plunging, custom-made gown in silver, the 29-year-old showed off her stunning figure in a deep-cut look, choosing designer Courreges as she put on another flawless display.
In a tender family moment, Dua chose dad Dukagjin as her date, but fans seeing The Daily Mail‘s photos appeared horrified. While some complimented the “New Rules” hitmaker on her fashion choice, others squirmed at her modeling such a revealing number while posing with her father. In fact, one of the most popular comments saw a fan saying they’d be “mortified” if seen in such a look with their dad.
Dua Lipa Shows Off Grammys Dress With Her Dad
Highlighting her toned figure in a shimmer-effect, segmented dress with long sleeves, Dua braved a chest flash in her v-neckline, ditching the bra as she flashed her world-famous abs.
Looking classy in her floor-length number, the Grammy winner rocked cut-outs around her waist, peeping her enviable hips while concealing her long legs. Adding a statement necklace and ring jewelry, Dua wowed with her long hair worn down and dyed red. She also looked impeccable in a full face of makeup, complete with cheek-flaunting bronzer and a deep matte lip stain.
Meanwhile, the singer’s father looked dapper in a bow tie getup as he posed proudly with his superstar daughter.
Fans Creeped Out By Plunging Dress With Dad
Over 50 fans agreed with an eyebrow-raising comment reading: “Strange choice of dress to wear standing next to your father!”
Also popular was a fan saying: “I would be mortified standing with my Dad dressed like that.” Elsewhere, a fan wondered if they’d feel comfortable pulling off such a low-cut look. “I wish I could feel so confident wearing a dress that revealing. I don’t think my wife would be to happy about it however,” they wrote.
Dua’s Grammys appearance also made headlines for her live performance, one bringing fans a medley of her “Training Season” track, plus “Dance The Night” and “Houdini.” The singer also walked away with Song of the Year and Son Written for Visual Media.
The 2024 Grammys proved star-studded, welcoming famous faces including “Flowers” singer Miley Cyrus, “bad guy” hitmaker Billie Eilish, and British pop sensation Ed Sheeran. Dua, meanwhile, is now in the news for confirming her 2025 tour. Earlier this year, the Versace ambassador released her Radical Optimism album.
