Dynasty Warriors 9 releases in the United States tomorrow, February 13, which means that today is the last day to cash in on the 20% discount when buying it on Amazon Prime. Midnight is the cutoff time. You can grab the game on PS4 here, the Xbox One here, and Best Buy Unlocked members can pick up their copy here. If you have either membership for Best Buy Unlocked or Amazon Prime, then make sure to get the game before the discount runs out. Who knows when the next time there will be one after its released.
The official description for the game reads:
In Dynasty Warriors 9, you will experience an immersive open world adventure featuring the signature “One Versus Thousands” style action in the series’ most ambitious entry to date. The players will explore China as it existed when feudal warlords vied for dominance over the land – the waning days of the Han dynasty and emergence of the Three Kingdoms era. Setting out to complete various objectives, players will utilize an unprecedented world map to navigate and traverse a variety of different landscapes ranging from vast plains to snow-covered peaks presented with dynamic day/night and weather cycles. The players can explore these impressive environments and engage with the surroundings to gain an upper hand in battle.
Dynasty Warriors 9 will be the first title of the franchise to boast an open-world. Additionally, you’ll have the ability to sneak up to castles and other fortified objectives, which is unlike anything you should be used to. In a normal game of Dynasty Warriors, there are a number of objectives that you’re required to take if you want to win. With the stealth factor being implemented in the 9th installment of the franchise, you can mix up your strategy–from going in swords a blazing–to entering with a more quiet approach. Personally, I’ll take the latter.
If you’re excited about Dynasty Warriors 9, then make sure to pre-order your copy today before the discount runs out, or pick it up any day after. But hey, who doesn’t like 20% off?
Most of the time he spends writing, reading (anything from comics to classic literature), playing video games, and wondering when the next Elder Scrolls title will be released. Hopefully soon…
