Bethesda has just kicked off it’s conference at E3 with a trailer for Quake Champions.
The trailer showed intense cinematic action and it appears the game may follow the hero formula, similar to the highly popular Overwatch. Tim Willits came out to give us a little more info on what to expect from Quake Champions.
Quake Champions is a faced paced arena shooter designed for player of all skill levels. The game will have “unique and badass” characters and feature classic arena combat. These diverse warrior will feature unique attributes and abilities which will allow you to fight the way you want. Quake is also again designed for E-Sports play at any level, making it a game that everyone can participate in.
With high performance being critical for this type of game, Quake will be running at 120Hz with unlocked frame rates. More information and more footage is expected to be shown at QuakeCon in August in Dallas, with thousands expected to be in attendance.
