It comes as no surprise to anyone that we saw some confirmation on the newest Assassin’s Creed game at E3 2017. Assassin’s Creed Origins has suffered from leaks and rumors for the past few months but it was officially announced at Microsoft’s conference today. And what we got to see of the newest Assassin’s Creed did not disappoint.
The rumors of the location are true, and it looks like this portion of the Assassin’s Creed series will be taking place in Egypt. It will focus on a new assassin, Bayek, and the very first group of people to call themselves the “Assassins”. Other than a brief look into the story, the trailer also showed off some new gameplay features like controllable arrows and controllable hawks to access a bird’s eye view of an environment. Assassin’s Creed Origins has an official release date of October 27th, 2017 on Xbox One X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
