Nintendo announced earlier today at their E3 2017 briefing that they were bringing a Yoshi title to the Nintendo Switch. An official release date was not specified, but like their new Kirby title which was also announced today, the new Yoshi game will be available sometime in 2018 on the Switch.

The announcement trailer was accompanied by some gameplay footage. Like most Yoshi games in the past, it features the adorable dinosaur followed by a series of eggs as he works his way through environments with cardboard backgrounds. More information about the game will be revealed during Nintendo’s Treehouse live stream. The last Yoshi game, Yoshi’s Wooly World, was released on the Wii U in 2015, and I’m really looking forward to seeing Yoshi on the newest console. Especially since it is being made with the Unreal engine.

While the E3 conference is coming to an end, but there are still plenty of panels left to fill all of your gaming and entertainment needs. Here is the official schedule for the E3 Coliseum panels over the next few days. As always, The Nerd Stash will be covering the events; so, keep your eyes peeled for all your continued E3 news.
