Bethesda announced during Sony’s E3 2017 conference that The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim will be coming to PlayStation VR. It’s even coming sooner than you would think. Fans of the series can expect to experience Skyrim VR this November.
While it was no surprise that Fall Out 4, and even Doom VFR, was coming to VR, this is the first news we have heard of Elder Scrolls getting the same treatment. The virtual reality Skyrim experience will give players the ability to experience everything that the original Skyrim has to offer because it will include the entire game with refurbished graphics. It will also include all of the add-ons that are currently available: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. Sony’s conference wasn’t the first and only conference to contain Skyrim news. Earlier this week, we also saw that the Dragonborn can dawn the costume and weapons of the Hero of Time on the Nintendo Switch port of Skyrim.
Sadly, E3 is drawing to a close with Nintendo holding the final conference later today. Here is an official schedule for your viewing pleasure. And, as always, keep an eye on The Nerd Stash as we will be showing and covering the events live!
