Splinter Cell: Blacklist developer, Ubisoft Toronto, announced their new game coming fall 2018 at E3 2017. Starlink: Battle for Atlas will come to current gen consoles, such as Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch. The game is a toys-to-life space adventure that allows players to hook up starfighter toys to their controller. Each starship can be changed physically by removing certain pieces on the wings or hull. Changing your ship will be recognized by the game and will change the in-game experience as a whole. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The trailer gives viewers a little bit of what to expect from the game in regards to the story while showing more of the beautiful environments that were created for the game. From a stormy cloud shrouding the sun of an unknown planet to the depths of space, there’ll be a lot for players to explore. The toys-to-life style of game will be an interesting addition to a game like Starlink. Controlling your ship on your controller will effect the game in real time, so one can expect that to be an important aspect to master while playing. After all, switching weapons on your toy-ship may prove to be difficult when in the middle of a fight.
