My personal highlight of the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017 was the reveal trailer for the indie title Tunic. This pixelated indie game stars a “tiny fox in a big world. Explore the wilderness, discover spooky ruins, and fight terrible creatures from long ago.” This title is being developed by one man in Canada, Andrew Shouldice. However, he is working closely with Finji, the publisher behind A Night In The Woods, to get the game published. Tunic was announced in early 2015 under a different name, Secret Legend.
As of right now, the game is set to release in early 2018 on PC, Mac, and “potentially” consoles. According to the developer, they have yet to decide on which console they will be releasing Tunic on. Needless to say, this is a title that you should definitely keep an eye on. With Xbox announcing Super Lucky’s Tale the other night, foxes are obviously in this year!
There is plenty more to see today with Ubisoft and Sony’s conferences later this evening, so make sure to stick around! Here is an official schedule for your viewing pleasure. And, as always, keep an eye on The Nerd Stash as we will be showing and covering the events live!
