In celebration of E3 2018, Microsoft will be repping a huge sale for their Xbox products from June 7 – June 23. That means games, consoles, controllers, and more. A post on Xbox Wire confirmed this by saying:
“If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to buy an Xbox – that moment is now. Starting Thursday, June 7 you’ll find discounts on hundreds of games, accessories, Xbox Game Pass and Live Gold subscriptions, plus $50 off of ANY Xbox One.”
Any Xbox One. Literally. The Xbox One X included, which has never been discounted before since its release last year. It’ll be $449 after the discount is applied. The Xbox One S 1 TB bundles will be $249, while the Xbox One S 500 GB bundles will be $199.
Many games will be discounted over 75 percent off retail price, and there’ll be first-time discounts for more than 300 games. Those include Monster Hunter: World, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Sea of Thieves, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. And check out our list of games expected to be released on the Xbox One X in the near future, just in case you do decide to take advantage of this first-time-ever sale.
Certain retailers will be running their own promotion alongside Microsoft’s sale, as well. A Buy 3, Get 3 months of Xbox Live Gold and a 50 percent off Xbox Game Pass will be available to those seeking to play their new titles online with other players from around the world. This is the perfect deal for anyone just getting the Xbox One or Xbox One X.
A bunch of controllers are $10 off their original price, except for the Xbox One Elite controller. Can’t have it all, it would seem. But you can design your own Xbox Design Lab controller for $10 off, a total of $70 after the discount.
The first E3 show is on Saturday with EA kicking off the event. There are a lot of things going on for those four days, so make sure to check back to The Nerd Stash for any breaking news. Microsoft is bound to have some awesome reveals if this sale is any indication of it.
