EA Sports UFC 5 Is Officially in Development!

EA Sports UFC 5 is the latest installment in the EA Sports UFC franchise of games, based on the official UFC fighting association. The last installment in the franchise, EA Sports UFC 4, was released back n August 2020 for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It featured Jorge Masvidal and Israel Adesanya as the two cover athletes. Adesanya is currently the reigning UFC middleweight champion and is considered one of the best fighters in the world. Masvidal, on the other hand, has never held a champion title and has lost at least 16 of his 51 fights in the UFC so far. However, he is still considered a noteworthy fighter.

There is no information on who may serve as the cover fighter for UFC 5, though it is possible it will be another reigning champion or another fighter of noteworthy status.

As per the release window for the game, it is unknown if it will release this year following the September 2023 reveal or sometime next year. The window of time between EA Sports UFC 3 and 4 was around two years. UFC 4 was released nearly three years ago, so it is very possible.
