Roderika is an NPC in Elden Ring who serves as a Spirit Tuner for Tarnished and offers a brief questline that rewards players with her Crimson Hood, Spirit Jellyfish Ashes, and two Gestures. Adventurers will first encounter this young woman along the road to Stormveil Castle within Stormhill Shack. She will be sitting on the cabin floor, distressed about what happened to her comrades in Stormveil. To start her tale, Tarnished must exhaust her dialogue to receive the first Gesture, Sitting Sideways, and a summonable Jellyfish. She will then request that players look for her “little chrysalids” in Stormveil.
Completing Roderika’s Questline in Elden Ring
To complete Roderika’s questline in Elden Ring, Tarnished travelers must find the Chrysalids’ Memento. This quest item can be found atop a pile of corpses in a small room next to a large chamber with a Grafted Scion. If players return this memento to Roderika, she will decide to leave Stormhill Shack and head to the Roundtable Hold.

After returning to the Roundtable Hold, Tarnished adventurers can find Roderika by the fireplace in the central room. She will reward players with a Golden Seed for their help. Next, to have Roderika become a Spirit Tuner, the protagonist must complete a back-and-forth dialogue between her and Smithing Master Hewg. After exhausting their dialogue about each other and reloading the area, she will relocate to the hall beside Hewg as the players’ Spirit Tuner.
To get Roderika’s Crimson Hood, Elden Ring fans must return to the same location where they found her Chrysalids’ Memento during her questline. Additionally, once players have upgraded any of their Spirit Ashes to +4, they can choose the “Talk” option with Roderika to learn the Curtsy Gesture.
