Elden Ring: How to Get the Bloodflame Blade Incantation

Several incantations found in Elden Ring provide you with certain buffs, whether this be for your stats or your weapon. While putting something like Holy Damage are your sword is all fine and good, there is something just cool about being able to coat your weapon in bloodflame, which you can do with the Bloodflame Blade incantation. As the name suggests, using this incantation enchants your right-hand armament with bloodflame, which gives the weapon the ability to hemorrhage enemies and do fire damage. A very useful tool, players will want to know where to find it. This guide will explain to players where and how to get the Bloodflame Blade Incantation in Elden Ring.

How To Get The Bloodflame Blade Incantation In Elden Ring

This incantation is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab that is found in Liurnia of the Lakes, the region to the north of Stormveil Castle and the game’s starting zone of Limgrave. Once in the fog-laden lake, head to the north of the landmark known as Rose Church. Just beyond this bloody church where you can meet White-Faced Varre and continue his questline, you will find a Scarab standing in the water, as seen in the picture below on the right. Run up to the Scarab and kill it; doing so will see you receive the Bloodflame Blade incantation for your use.

In order to cast the incantation, players will need to get themselves a Talisman and have their stats high enough. You will need your Faith stat at Level 12 and your Arcane stat at Level 12 in order to use the incantation. If you fulfill those two requirements, you will be able to use one of the game’s best enchantment incantations.
