One of the most powerful useful incantations that can be found in Elden Ring is also one of the most simple ones. The Lightning Strike Incantation sees players producing a lightning bolt in their hand that they can hurl at the enemy of their choice, with the ability to charge the move for some extra damage. It is relatively simple and can be found early in the game, but its usefulness comes from its ease of use. This guide will show players where and how to get the Lightning Strike incantation in Elden Ring.
How To Get The Lightning Strike Incantation In Elden Ring
The Lightning Strike Incantation is within the center of the Weeping Pennisula, the region found to the south of Limgrave. Travel west of the Ailing Village and near the Minor Erdtree, as pictured below. Starting from the Church of Pilgrimage Site of Grace, players will want to head south towards the Minor Erdtree. There will be an Erdtree Avatar here if you haven’t already defeated it, but fighting it is unnecessary to get this. Go to the cliffs to the east of the tree to find a set of horizontal tombstones that you can jump on. Use these to get down to the area beneath you.

Once down here, you will be close to finding the incantation, but it is crucial to know that there will be a horde of bats to avoid, including a small field of Fulgurbloom. In the middle of the Fulgurbloom, you will find a Golden Scarab. Killing the Scarab will drop the Lightning Strike incantation. It requires you to have any talisman as well as level 28 in Faith to use it.
Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
