The Lands Between of Elden Ring encompasses a variety of incredibly fun-to-use weapons, such as the beautiful twinblades! A lot has changed since the game came out, but what is very clear is that flying around while spinning your intimidating spear-sword is still one of the most fulfilling experiences Elden Ring has to offer. With the speed of a cheetah and the grace of a swan, you can decimate basic enemies left and right with this extraordinary armament. There are a few you can choose from, but which one is the best? And which one will suit your needs the most?
Top Elden Ring Twinblades
There are 6 twinblades in total that the player can find during their travels. Out of these, there are 2 that can be used to wreak havoc on the NPCs: the Godskin Peeler and Eleonora’s Poleblade.
Unfortunately for some, these weapons cannot be obtained in the early game. They both are in the same mid to late-game area, the Altus Plateau. This, however, means you can use them as much as you want during the late game to best the most challenging bosses of Elden Ring .
Godskin Peeler
This eccentric twinblade can be obtained by defeating the Godskin Apostle at Windmill Village in the Altus Plateau. Its unique weapon skill is fun to use, and its requirements are pretty decent (17 Strength and 22 Dexterity).
The true beauty of this piece of equipment comes to life when you use the Blood affinity on it. It has incredible damage potential while dual-wielding. When jump attacking, it deals x4 hits, which can quickly build up the bleed bar.
Eleonora’s Poleblade
The Tarnished can get this weapon by defeating Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, in the Second Church of Marika. If the requirements for the Godskin Peeler were met, you only need 19 Arcane to also wield this twinblade.
Eleonora’s Poleblade impresses with its decent physical damage combined with an equal amount of fire damage and good bleed build-up. It also has a glamorous, unique weapon skill named Bloodblade Dance. This attack can stagger many of the bosses with its constant attack. It is similar in many ways to Malenia’s Waterfowl Dance.
Using this weapon with the Peeler will make most enemies that are not immune to bleed damage a cakewalk. Dual-wielding these weapons can build up their bleed in just a couple of jump attacks.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
