The Warmaster’s Shack is an early game location in Elden Ring where you can discover an Ashes of War Merchant as well as a secret boss encounter. Continue reading to learn the location of the area and how you can trigger the secret boss to appear in your game.
Warmaster’s Shack Location in Elden Ring
Warmaster’s Shack isn’t that hard to find. Located in West Limgrave, Stormhill (or northeastern part of the map just outside Stormveil Castle), as you can suspect from the name, it is just a small, dilapidated shack. Inside of it, you will meet Knight Bernahl, an Ash of War Merchant. There’s also a Site of Grace in the area, so you can use it to fast travel whenever you need to revisit the place.
After you speak with him once, for some reason, it will summon a Bell Bearing Hunter boss fight. However, the boss will only show up at night time. It doesn’t matter what dialogue option you choose when talking with Bernahl. Speaking with him will trigger the boss fight. Watch Rifle Gaming’s video below for more details. - Kick: 800 Runes.

- Impaling Thrust: 1,000 Runes.
- Quickstep: 800 Runes.
- Storm Blade: 1,800 Runes.
- Parry: 600 Runes.
