Nothing feels quite as good as swinging a hefty beast of a sword to cut down enemies. A great way to expand your arsenal in Elden Ring is to hunt down the Colossal Sword Zweihander. It’s big yet flexible as it doesn’t weigh as much as other oversized weapons. All the more reason you should get one to play around with your fighting style. Zweihander Location in Elden Ring
You don’t need to get too far in Elden Ring to find Zweihander. The area it’s located is accessible early on. Head far west in the Weeping Peninsula. You’ll find one of several Isolated Merchants there hanging out in a shack. It’s an open field too so you can simply walk there.
Simply interact with the Merchant and you’ve found Zweihander, and all you need in Elden Ring is 3,500 Runes to walk away with it. Now, you can hack through enemies without too much trouble if you can handle such a mighty weapon.
Using the Colossal Sword in Elden Ring
Before you can wield Zweihander, you must meet these requirements:
- Str: 19
- Dex: 11
Along with the fact that it only weighs 15.1, Zweihander is an excellent weapon to find early in your Elden Ring campaign. It’s even wonderful to keep in your arsenal throughout since you can infuse it with Ashes of War. Zweihander is remarkably easy to adjust to various builds, which gives you even more incentive to discover it early in your playthrough.
The Colossal Sword is simply beautiful to see in action. It’s ideal for wide swings that can handle multiple opponents or knock back a heavy one, but it’s also useful to thrust with and devastate enemies. A great balance.
