Crystal Tears are powerful key items found throughout The Lands Between in Elden Ring. These items are used to customize a replenishable consumable known as the Flask of Wondrous Physick to provide a variety of powerful and special effects that will help you along your journey. The Cerulean Hidden Tear is one of the most powerful and universally useful of all the Crystal Tears as it temporarily eliminates all FP consumption. Since FP is the resource that applies to sorceries, incantations, and Ashes of War equally, every type of playstyle can make use of this to potentially use their powerful abilities infinitely for a short time at no cost. This guide will show players where to get their hands on the Cerulean Hidden Tear in Elden Ring.

Where To Get The Cerulean Hidden Tear In Elden Ring

The Cerulean Hidden Tear is found in the Mt. Gelmir region west of the Altus Plateau, so you will have to have already gone past both Limgrave and Liurnia of the Lakes. The closest Site of Grace to your loot is the Road of Inquiry Site of Grace sitting just north of the Volcano Manor. From the Site of Grace, head east down the rocky slope, and you should see Undead and Trolls strung up by their feet in the air, signaling you are going in the right direction of the Cerulean Hidden Tear. Along the way, you should pass a colossal Wormface enemy, be sure to move around him along the cliffside quickly if you do not wish to deal with the towering foe. He can inflict deathblight and has swift attacks. However, if you continue moving, he will not chase you too far. At the bottom of the descent, you will see the Minor Erdtree.

Once you get close to the Minor Erdtree, where you will find the Cerulean Hidden Tear, the battle with the Ulcerated Tree Spirit will commence automatically. This boss is repeated a few times across Elden Ring, so you may or may not have already encountered this slithering serpent. It has long-winded attack animations, so you should be able to avoid them easily for the most part. Just be sure to move away if it starts leaking a yellow fire or opens its mouth all the way and coils for a strong command grab attack. Once you slay the Ulcerated Tree Spirit, you will be given the Cerulean Hidden Tear to use as you wish. Be sure to head back to any Site of Grace to mix your new Crystal Tear into the Flask of Wondrous Physick for the exceedingly strong benefits it gives you. Now you have yet another tool to help you on your grand path to becoming the next Elden Lord.
