More stars continue to be sucked into Diddy‘s legal woes, and the latest victim is Elon Musk. With the rapper’s reputation tanking amid the slew of sexual assault allegations, his relationship with Hollywood powerhouses is being evaluated. In a new update, it turns out Musk and Diddy did more than just attend parties and shows together.
A new document obtained by The Washington Post lists Diddy as one of the major investors in X, formerly Twitter. The Bad Boys Records founder is part of the 100-part owner that helped Musk raise the $44B he used to purchase the social media platform in 2022. Diddy made the investment under his company, Sean Combs Capital, LLC. However, the exact money he pumped into the business is unknown.
He was listed alongside the likes of Jack Dorsey, Bill Ackman, and more. The released list came at the authorization of U.S. District Judge Susan Illston for a motion filed by tech journalist Jacob Silverman. Silverman wanted transparency for the public’s sake in relation to ex-Twitter employees’s lawsuit against the company. The document, however, has nothing to do with Diddy’s sex trafficking investigation.
The purchase of X isn’t the only time Diddy and the tech mogul have fraternized together. A year prior, the pair hung out at Dave Chappelle’s comedy show in May 2022.
Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Accuser Filed Official Police Report
Diddy’s exposed connection with Musk comes after his legal troubles intensified. Last week, one of the rapper’s accusers filed a police report to back up her civil lawsuit. The alleged victim, a porn star, claimed the music mogul groomed and trafficked her at his infamous White Parties. A month after suing the Coming Home artist, she filed a report with Miami Beach PD detailing the events of her case.
Although authorities determined there was not enough evidence to investigate Diddy for human trafficking, they turned over the file to the feds, who are also looking into the disgraced producer. Per TMZ, the former adult film star plans to file another police report in New York to ensure she receives justice.
