Among the worst plagues that have hit our nation, entitlement is among the worst. We’ve seen countless videos featuring people who think they are above everyone else and have no regard for other people’s feelings, jobs, time, or anything else. To illustrate this, an entitled Karen from New York was recently seen inside a Metro by T-Mobile store demanding a new phone. Now, this wouldn’t be a big issue, especially since everyone is allowed to enter these stores to get a phone. However, the store was undergoing repairs, meaning that the employees couldn’t sell her a new phone.
The video shows a Karen entering a Metro by T-Mobile store in New York, demanding that her current phone is “tripping” and needs a new one. As soon as she enters the establishment, she starts telling the employee what’s wrong with her current device, and the employee stands up to listen before asking, “You have insurance?“
The entitled woman tells her this isn’t about insurance, but the employee replies that they can’t give her a new phone because the door is broken, preventing them from selling any mobile devices. At first, the Karen shows some signs of entitlement, saying she doesn’t care and that the employee shouldn’t “waste her breath,” just tell her if she can or can’t get a phone. The employee says she can’t.
After a while, the woman recording seemed to calm down. Still, instead of leaving as instructed, she just kept bombarding the employee with questions, asking what the next step would be, and even inquiring about which phone she could get instead of this one. You can clearly see the face of the employee, who clearly seemed annoyed by this lady who refused to leave the store. Fortunately, the entitled woman left the establishment, and the situation didn’t escalate.
Still, many saw this woman’s actions as rude, especially since she didn’t let the employee explain why they were open but couldn’t sell a phone, and then refused to leave when the woman behind the counter kindly asked her to go to another store.

The truth is, while this Karen showed some entitlement, it was tamer than in other situations we’ve seen out there. Still, it is always sad to see employees or others dealing with these individuals.
