Terrifier 3 is on its way, and audiences should buckle up if Art the Clown himself canโt handle the terror. The third installment in the Terrifier saga is currently in production ahead of an October release, and director Damien Leone recently shared a juicy peek behind the scenes of the new movie, sharing that heโd just finished filming one of the horrifying scenes in the franchise so far โ so bad that someone on set nearly lost their lunch. Weโve got to admit, for a series literally called Terrifier, thatโs impressive, and it only got better when David Howard Thornton backed him up.
โTerrifier 3โ Director Says Art the Clown Nearly Threw Up on Set
Art the Clown made his debut in The 9th Circle, a 2008 short film directed by Damien Leone, where he was played by Mike Gianelli. Gianelli would go on to reprise his role as Art for the characterโs feature film debut in All Hollowsโ Eve (2013) and the first Terrifier movie in 2016. Staring with Terrifier 2 (2022), Art the Clown was played by David Howard Thornton, a man whoโs seen his fair share of horror movies. It really makes you wonder, then, what kind of horrifying scene Damien Leone is putting in Terrifier 3 that not even Thornton โ Art the Clown himself โ could handle the fear.
