There are a variety of different monsters you can encounter when you try to loot different moons in Lethal Company. The monsters all have their own abilities and styles that make them unique and difficult to maneuver around. It also doesn’t help that they can be pretty terrifying and tend to show up when you least expect them. To make each run a little bit easier, we outlined every monster in Lethal Company that you can encounter as well as how you can defeat them in a table down below.
Lethal Company: All Monsters
There are three kinds of monsters that you can encounter in Lethal Company:
- Outside Monsters
- Inside Monsters
- Outside Nighttime Monsters
Each of the monsters in these categories and how you can defeat these Lethal Company monsters is as follows:

| Roaming Locusts | Outside | They are harmless and will run away if you get too close to them. |
| Manticoils | Outside | Get close enough and attack. |
| Circuit Bees | Outside | They are avoidable if you don’t get too close. |
| Baboon Hawks | Outside | Attack them carefully as two hits will surely kill you. |
| Hoarding Bugs | Inside | Getting too close will trigger them so try hitting them with a shovel or stop sign. |
| Snare Fleas | Inside | Run as fast as you can. If they get you, they’ll slowly blind you. |
| Spore Lizards | Inside | They will mostly run away unless they are cornered with nowhere else to go. |
| Hygroderes | Inside | Try avoiding it as two hits will take you out of the game. |
| Bunker Spiders | Inside | Don’t walk into their webs and try hitting them with a shovel or a stop sign to stop them in their tracks. |
| Flower Man (Bracken) | Inside | Stare the Flower Man down, but not for too long. Staring stops the Flower Man, but staring too long gets the Flower Men to attack. |
| Thumpers | Inside | Take as many corners as you can because turning makes them go slower. |
| Coil-heads | Inside | Don’t look or touch them, otherwise, they will attack. Have a teammate stare them down while you walk past so long as you return the favor. |
| Jesters | Inside | You can run away from them easily until they start changing phases, and then they start alarming other monsters and chasing you down. You cannot hide from them. |
| Ghost Girl | Inside | Whoever sees her is out of luck because if she touches them, they are instantly killed. |
| Masked | Inside | Hit them with a stop sign or a shovel while they’re attacking. If you’re too slow, they’ll turn you into one of them. Holding onto the mask for too long can also turn you into one. |
| Nutcracker | Inside | Aim for its eye and stay out of sight while it is scanning the area. Hit it with a shovel or shoot it with its own shotgun if you can steal it. |
| Forest Keepers | Outside Nighttime | Run away. If a Forest Keeper catches you, you automatically die. |
| Eyeless Dogs | Outside Nighttime | Just run away. Otherwise, try hitting them with a stop sign or a shovel. |
| Earth Leviathan | Outside Nighttime | Run away as their attacks are lethal with just one hit. |
